Calling for the removal of St.com's Administrators and Moderators for mis-managing this website.  MEMBERS: copy and paste this thread and send it to CBS so we can get an unbiased, more professional staff running this site.  
Admin & Mod's refuse to answer any emails, p.m.'s, or threads questioning the recent banning/suspension of several long time members of St.com.  The Admins & Mod's will not tell these banned or suspended members how they violated the Terms of Service on St.com, and how long their suspension will be in effect.  The recently suspended members cannot even ask Admin what their suspension was based on, because their p.m. priviledges were removed by Admin.  And don't even both emailing them at Community@startrek.com  They will not answer.  I believe they don't tell the banned/suspended members what they did wrong, because there WASN'T ANY VIOLATION COMMITTED.  Otherwise, why would Admin remain silent.
The Admin of St.com have also recently banned several ISP numbers, which bans innocent people with that same ISP.  One public ISP number banned covers three separate states!.  That means that even guests who want to view the message boards here on the Star Trek XI movie are blocked.  I wonder what the Adverstisers on this site would think about that??
This is a travesity.  This is a dictatorship.  And this is totally unfair to the seasoned long time members of St.com who kept this site active and fesh for many years, making more than 20,000 posts so the Advertisers would continue to pay CBS/Paramount.
If we, the members of St.com do not get a more UNBIASED, professional acting staff running our beloved site, I will be taking a PETITION to the 2009 Star Trek Vegas Convention next month getting hundreds of fans to sign for the removal of the current Admin staff here.  I won't have any trouble getting signatures, as so many Star Trek fans have left this site years ago due to mis-management by Admin.
In closing, I know the UNPROFESSIONAL, dictatorship style Admin staff here will just delete this thread, and ban my ISP.  But I have about 20 different ISP's to come back and post this thread again and again until we get some answers!
What you can do to help:  Go to CBS.Com and post your complaint about St.com in the television show feedback at the bottom of the page.  No email address or registration is required.  Post in every television show they have.  If they get enough complaints to forward to the Powers that Be, maybe something will be done.

The true beauty of Roddenberry's vision: it envisions a culture in which man's nature has taken a great leap toward coming into equilibrium with his environment. Man is at heart a conqueror, that is to say, as a species, we expand, we seek adventure, we lust for acquisition, and we even crave violence. But in this future we have developed a code that allows us to live to our maximum potential, to feel life to it's fullest, to experience new things, to learn and to grow every day that we live and breathe, but not to destroy and ravage in our path, not to find our personal gain at the expense of someone weaker.
The code that has evolved I believe I can summarize thusly:
1) To learn and grow as individuals and as a species.
2) To protect the helpless (ultimately best defined by the Prime Directive)
3) To uphold legal contracts wherever they may be found.
4) To protect the integrity of the Timeline, even where it necessarily implies self-sacrifice.
At the heart of these ideals is a religious faith in an incomprehensible order to the universe, a fundamental belief that good will overcome evil, that good can come from evil, that it is possible to believe both that one person can make a difference, that the sanctity of the individual is the most important thing in the universe and simultaneously that we are greater as a whole than as individuals.
These principals are essential to the character of Star Trek-- proven more essential than the format of ship-based exploration, naval tradition, individual characters, or the cut of a uniform. This is why the current story arc only has one possible end. Being an alternate reality story, Star Trek morality leaves only one possible course of action. If the next movie is not about the crew of the Enterprise gallantly doing the impossible, defeating Nero before he is able to kill Kirk Sr., then it is a story of people betraying their principals. Any other course would imply that the attack by Nero had somehow changed the very fabric of Federation philosophy, the entire worldview of the contemporary human culture, that all of humanity had failed to make Roddenberry's discovery; had failed to find a way to channel our warlike, colonial and ¿ hoarding instincts into a force for good in the Universe. It would imply that Kirk had degenerated into Buck Rogers.
The current story line could be one of the great iterations of Star Trek mythology (I do believe it was a well-orchestrated diversion), but only if it ends with success through sacrifice and restoration of the proper order of things, evidence of human faith in the unknown and an inherent and fostered belief in Good. Please, reassure me that Tasha Yar was not raped by a Romulan just so that Spock and Kirk could have a gangbang with Uhura.
