Did you see the film in IMAX, DLP, or at least HD?

I saw it first in regular vision, them saw it in IMAX. What a difference. I made sure to sit top and center. There was one scene that made me dizzy (I'm susceptible to motion sickness), so that was wowzers. The sound was awesome. My only nudge against it was that I could see every flaw in the actors' skins. Moles, scars, hairs, dimples, five o clock shadows. Weird, when you're used to seeing flawless actors in films.

I saw it in a regular theater.

Going to the movies has become more and more unappealing to me over the years. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm impatient to see the movies that catch my interest, I'd stop going all together and just rent movies when they come out 4 months later. Maybe when the ticket prices reach 14 bucks or more (they are currently 11.50 at the closest theater to me) I'll finally stop going to the movies. I always have a better experience watching movies at home with my HDTV and surround sound speakers...and no annoying people lol

 My wife complained about the same thing.  We saw it in IMAX and you could see that nobody shaves in the 23rd Century.

:D Calgary has a brand new Imax so I changed underwear three times when I heard the new movie was coming out in Imax.
:( Paramount didn't send us an Imax copy - the other crap I don't have a clue what all that techno jargon means.
:rookie: the movie was fantastic, superbly written, well characterized, perfectly portrayed, AWESOME!!! logically, I had to go see it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. FANdoubleTASTIC the second time - when does it come out in DVD or whatever formats and concoctions blue lazers, etc I don't know the jargon for?

I saw it in DLP last night. It was incredible, far superior to regular film and even IMAX (which is just expanded filmstrip anyway, you need a film specifically filmed in IMAX for it to look good in IMAX).

I followed the advice of a friend at work and saw it in IMAX format. ¿It was sixteen dollars, but it was well worth it!

Saw it on a digital screen first than in IMAX and the digital screen was 100 times better.  In fact, seeing Trek in IMAX was the worst movie I've ever seen, blurry picture, dirty screen, I hope others had a better experience.
