Did you see the film in IMAX, DLP, or at least HD?

I am curious as to why and how many people would see this movie in reel.  It must have looked terrible.  Most sci-fi looks terrible on reel.  Just curious as to why you would waste you money on reel because I truly believe that can effect your view of the movie.

When you pick which type, write down the type and whether you liked it or not?  That way we can see if there is a correllation.

No one saw it on the old reel yet, or are you afraid to admit it people.

I really don't know about the sound system, but it sounded amazing. I could go back just to hear the ships jump into warp.

I saw in a living room theater with DLP 70mm top quality speaker system and was blown away, have to see it again.

Living room theaters are a company that builds top of the line sate of the art systems both visual and audio.  Also you get to sit in recliner lounge chairs and they serve you burgers, wine and beer.  Luxury and Trek ahhhhh

I have no idea what a DLP is.  I believe I saw a 35mm print that was not completely in focus, but I still contend the film is Teh Sux.

When you say reel, do you mean on celluloid film or what?

I saw in IMAX.

I took him/her to mean the 35mm film reels used in cinemas. Not sure what else they could mean.

I think you're right, but most theatres are digital now.

DLP.

It was engaging for that reason, but the movie itself was a "B".
