I have this 8 inch diecast medal model of the enterprise but the base which attaches at the bottom is broken.

Does anyone have an extra base for this or any creative ideas on how I could display this?

Thanks.

Well? Is fixed yet

You could go to a land scape suply store pick out a piece of lava rock or some other stone to represent an asteroid or small planetoid and mount it to that using a heavy enough gage wire to support model with out bending and painted to blend in with new base

If the diecast metal model has a hole in the bottom, you can get a fine piece of wood, (1/2" thick), jigsaw into the shape of the Starfleet insignia, sand, paint or stain. Then hammer a 4" nail through it and place the model on it. You can always tweak this idea to your liking. Good luck.

Well, there is always that good old super glue. If you don't want that, then you could paint your ceiling black with stars, then hang it off the ceiling. (That's what I would do.)
