Price for a gold ticket for the Parsippany convention has gone up $30. Maybe theyre getting good people...? Or the new stars are demanding more money...

it might mean that they're getting more people hopefuly

is anyone on the guest list yet?

Just Leonard Nimoy.

cool

but so far nobody that realy makes me want to go

i've seen Nimoy three times already

Sirtis is going to be in the city this weekend at Comicon (and so will Cardinal) if you're thinking of stopping by.

can you get me in for free?

I think it's only $25. ?We're not speaking at Comicon, just handing out flyers, so we're kinda low priority. ?It's mostly just autograph tables and things like that.

To be perfectly honest, I might be able to get you into the Jersey convention for free if I try. ?Creation is a lot more supportive of us.

oh dude, seriously I'd love you if you could get us in the the jersey one....they called me today and asked if I was still going....I can't afford the tickets :(

gimme two gold tickets and extra autographs for everyone

Well, if I got you in, you'd be in as an employee. ?It's not quite the same as being in as a regual person - You'd have to stand during the presentations (since you don't have an assigned seat) and when it comes to autographs, it's basicly whomever you run into during down hours; ?Me and Brent Spiner, for example, spent a lot of time talking behind the scenes, but I missed Patrick Stewert all together.

Also, you'd be taking the place of some of my volinteers, so you'd have to hand out some flyers :p

oh never mind...thanks anyway

It's really not a bad way to see conventions.  I get to meet all kinds of Trek personalities, and I get to travel all over the country.

sounds cool, I just prefer to go as a guest that's all

though from all the email I've gotten it sounds like they're only interested in getting people from the new movie for this con...if that's the case then I'm glad I didn't buy those tickets

I understand what you mean.  It certainly hurts us to have them promoting turning Trek into an action franchise while we're trying to retain the old ways.

You know me and my kids from the front row at the east coast Trek con from the last many years.

I have cancelled my tix for this year.

Creation is pushing the new movie full force, and I am just not interested at all. I'm not waiting around to see who else they get to make a decision. I'm using that money to get to Detroit and Phoenix for the two Exhibitions, and to Vegas when the new Experience opens.

yeah, they called me and asked if I was still interested in going and I said no. They are interested in only guests from the new movie and I'm not interested in meeting them at all. If there happens to be someone that I actualy want to see there then it's close enough to where I live that I'll go general admission and get an autograph

And SL may have seen my fuzzy kids too.  Data, Tasha and Will.  I have to drive up, alone and fly the husband in due to the new job.  We are going to do a family photo with Jonathan Frakes.  Will has to have his picture with Riker.  I hope Chris has a chair for Jonathan, otherwise I will not be in the picture.  I am way to short.  It is so much fun watching the actors play with the poodles.  I am hoping for James Darren to come up again.  Love hearing him sing.  Who wants to rent a limo for a trip to Quarks?  ::raises hand::
