Spock: Doctor, If I were able to show emotion, Your new infatuation with that term would begin to annoy me. McCoy: What term? Logic? Medical Men are trained in logic Mr. Spock. Spock: Really Doctor, I had no idea you were trained. Watching you I assumed it was trial and error.

I prefer the humorously cold remarks. In the TNG episode "Manhunt" when Lwaxana Troi first saw the Antedian delegates she commented, "The last time I saw something like that it was being served on a plate," ....or better yet in the DS9 episode "Melora" when Quark asked Odo what he intended to do about Fallit Kot, who was there to kill Quark. Odo asked if it was true that when a Ferengi died they were (cremated ? and) sold in pieces (something to that effect)? Quark said "yes" and Odo replied "I'll buy one".

In The Circle -- I think, but certainly in one of that early season 2 trilogy from DS9 -- during that scene in Kira's quarters:
Bashir: I just came to give you my best. Dax: That's rather dull. Kira: Dull is a polite word for it.
~ It all gets kind of brushed aside but when I heard them say so it struck me as kind of mean especially since Julian was just being nice.

LOL...I feel bad for poor Wes, but it's so true.

The Garak to Erzi dialog, that was a tough one for Ezri, even if she knew it was the truth, but for most species the truth is usually tough to sustain emotionally, especially when coldly delivered, and that's of course directly inspired from real life, true things about ourself are usually things that can enrage you, or send you in profound sorrow. And pretty much all of Garak's dialog is brilliantly written, and even better performed.

Little Green Men (DS9), conversation about Nog leaving the station to attend Star Fleet Academy:
Worf to O'Brien: Ferengi at the Academy! I'm not sure that is wise.
O'Brien to Worf: Oh, I don't know about that. Not so long ago someone might've said the same thing about you.

I'd say Data, although he didn't know any better
Data: (to Chief O'Brien) Keiko has made a decision designed to increase her happiness. She has decided not to marry you.

Here's one from TOS, Bread and Circuses:
'Leave. A conversation between men could not concern you.' That's not exactly it, it was colder.
