What great news. Just read about it and really looking forward to it. Visited it in August, 2 weeks before it closed in the Hilton and was quite sad about it. Hope to visit LV again in the future and will surely visit the New Experience.

I hope if it does open that it still draws enough of a crowd that it remains open for a while. Being off the strip might make it hard for people to get there

Hello All,
As I said about a week ago I have news about the rebirth of STTE. Juise is correct, it might happen. Talks have been going on before the closing of the original STTE. Persons in place have confirmed that all parties are making every effort to make this happen. Given the nature of licensing, CBS just wants to make sure the new owner has the money to keep up the image of ST. It is all about the money.
I will say that there is a very strong possiblity that this will happen. Some of the old faces involved with STTE could be brought back, but we will see.
Best Wishes.

You have go to be joking? It's not hard to get there. It's on the old strip which stays busy AND you can get there by the LV bus system.

Now they just need to move the convention downtown. Perhaps the Golden Nugget? Too bad they have a signed lease at the Hilton for next August. This is such good news!

It's ok! Freemont street is probably a much better choice than the Hilton. Since CBS will be running it. Prices will be more reasonable than under Ceder Fair. It should prove interesting.

I was there the week before and $50 bucks for made me not even want to bother coming back in all honesty. I think 25-35 bucks is most reasonable. I kinda hope they keep that DS9 theme they had in all honesty.

yeah, $25 wouldn't be too bad. Especialy since it's always the two of us, it's double that actualy. $100 at the convention for it was too much

I'll wait to see what stays and and what goes and what will be new before I get excited. I've made peace with the fact that the Experience I knew is gone.
