I haven't seen any of the 'remasters'. What format do I buy... DVD, HD DVD, or BluRay? As for the Top 5..., they're pretty easy:

#1) Amok Time

#2) Menagerie 1 & 2

#3) Tholian Web

#4) The episode that had "The Gorn." (Cannot remember the
name)

#5) The other episode where Bones fixed up the 'Rock
Monster' with concrete.

Numerous honorable mentions: The Trouble with Tribbles, anything featuring hot, intelligent young ladies, and ANY episode featuring Scotty, who's my hero and Mentor. New flick in 2009? What are your thoughts?

IMHO, that ruins the whole episode because it removes most of the tension that was on the bridge in that scene.

I was watching "Operation: Annihilate" and Spock's line " There will be none on the planet surface" was gone. I was waiting for it, and it wasn't there. So, I don't think I will be watching any of the remastered episodes.

I'll admit, I was skeptical at first (going into very skeptical after watching Balance Of Terror), but overall, CBS Digital did a fine job. Here are my five, in random order:

The Doomsday Machine
The Immunity Syndrome
The Naked Time
The Enterprise Incident
Tomorrow Is Yesterday (I never cared for this episode, the FX made me appreciate it more.)

Honorable mentions: Too many to mention.
