Ok, we added dry ice to our mixture and it is spot on the Warp Core Breaches from the Experience.

A few tips:
1) Get a nice fish bowl, if you didn't get an official one from Quark's.
2) Chill the alcohol and Sobe mixture. It helps with getting it to the correct temperature.
3) A drop of water in the bottom of the bowl keeps the dry ice from floating away.
4) Fill the bowl 3/4 of the way with ice to get the best effect and temperature.

Fish bowl from Walmart - $6
Dry ice from Meijers - $12
Alcohol from Liquor Barn - $104
Having a Warp Core Breach at home - Priceless

For anyone who is interested here is an article on Details On ST: The Experience Decommissioning + Final Tickets. http://trekmovie.com/2008/08/28/

Sep 1 at 10:00 PM, after the final rides, there will be a special decommissioning ceremony held in front of the gates of Star Trek The Experience, in the Space Quest casino area. It will be open to the public and is likely to be packed.

I am sure we would appreciate if someone could please film it!

Thanks!

I found this while I was looking for something else on the net. There are 5 drink recipes there already and the promise of more to come.

After the guys at Ugly couch posted the recipe for the Warp core Breach I made my first one. There was a bit more more alcohol in it than the original recipe. About 5 ounces worth.

I made it as a surprise for my wife. She giggled and had a great time getting plastered. The glass is twice as large as the one we had at STTE.
