I still think Federation was the best book of any series. It would have made a great movie.

The William Shatner line of Star Trek books, from "The Return" to the end of the "Mirror Universe Saga". Those were awesome! The best Star Trek books I have read to date. I'd also give "Star Trek: Voyager: String Theory Trilogy" a honorable mention. A great SCIENCE FICTION read.

The first Star Trek book that I ever read was DS9: The Big Game, and I really loved it.  I also like Mind Meld; I,Q; Requiem; and pretty much anything by Peter David.

I also really liked the String Theory books and I,Q along with Q-in-Law, Homecoming, and The Farther Shore.  They are a couple more but I can't remember them right now.

The DS9 Relaunch have been suberb.  But if you want to compress all the awesome storytelling into 3 novels, I recommend The Milennium Trilogy.

I got "The Fall of Terok Nor" on ipod (audio). It's pretty good too. Haven't managed to find 2 & 3 yet. But I hope to get them on audio too. (merely for the sake of consistency)

Just thinking about the ones I like to read over and over. And yup. I'm pretty sure it's the same three I said before. In that order. Not hard to guess why.

I own every new frontier book, i've read each at least twice and i still love them. Also, The Good That Men Do, is one of the best Star Trek books i've ever read. You know whats strange though, i've had Federation sat in my cupboard for many many years, likely since it first came out, and i've never read it.
