It is 1942, and World War II wages on, raging across Europe, and the Far East - the struggle between the Allied Powers, and the Nazi terror in Europe growing more and more intense However not all is as it seems. When British forces stopped the development of V4 rockets by the Germans, British Command decided that there were some enemy weapons projects that were best kept hidden from the public eye. After the right papers and secret plans were signed by the Prime Minister Winston Churchill, US President Franklin D Roosevelt, and several secretaries, cabinet members. generals, admirals and members of office - the Special Projects Division was formed to pose as a force solely dedicated to destroying any new super-weapons that the Axis forces might develop to try and win the war, and to destroy them without alerting the public to their existence, or the existence of the Division itself. It would be a very difficult goal to achieve, but vital to maintain morale, and with the best of the best commandoes, pilots, soldiers, tank commanders, intelligence operatives and media personalities assigned to try and achieve it - the tightly guarded force based on a government island just off the coast of Great Britain, from where they fought their secret war against an even more secret enemy... With the bombing of Pearl Harbour by the Japanese, a new phase of the war has begun - with the Americans joining in the fight, and the Japs becoming a new enemy to deal with. Special Projects, like the rest of the Allied armed forces, has become more taxed than ever ~ with the Japanese developing their own secret weapons as well, and the Germans now having even more places to hide bases in which to build their toys. To counter this, President Roosevelt agreed that several top-of-the-line members of the US Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and god-knows who else would be attatched to the SPD as well. Meanwhile, in Germany, something very strange is going on..... ------------------------------------------------ Looking for something interesting out there? A break from Trek, a little pause from starships for a while? A place where there will be *garunteed* no uber-characters? Or maybye just searching for a good historical simm? The Special Projects Division has it all! And, come on, I made it ~ so it must be good. Enroll Today!!! Fight for your freedom!Personnel Roster
