I don't know, I couldn't say the publisher of DC Comics, Dan D i d o, in another thread. But besides that...
Congrats KRAD! That was a great ST book indeed, I enjoyed it immensly and loved how nicely it tied the Q Continuum appearances together into something that made perfect sense. You deserve the nomination! *claps*

Definitely the best Star Trek novel of 2007. Maybe even since 2006's Warpath.

Anyone know if Peter David for Before Dishonor was up to be nominated for any of these awards?
Congrats krad, your book is definitely worthy of the award!!

I wouldn't really see Q&A as laughable... EPIC is the word I'd use.

Even then i'd think that would be an understatement. Before Dishonor was epic. so many exciting things happened within the covers of those two books! *sighs in content*

For Before Dishonor? I thought this book was terribly weak. David did not get any of the characters right. Picard joking around while saving Earth??? Starfleet admirals using colloquial language and joking about Pluto when Earth faces the biggest thread since "I do not know when"? This book was horrible.

I was indirectly wondering if the critics agree with what many of the regular readers have to say about Before Dishonor... i.e. if the critics share opinions such as your own, Captain_Storma, which also is much the same as my own...

I've seen cases like this in movies, where characters find comfort in humor when faced with dire situations like this, where they can do nothing to stop it.
