Ever experience a moment of extreme hazard? ¿Time seems to slow down then. ¿I got into an accident once and was thrown across 4 lanes of oncoming traffic, hit a wall, and then went back across the lanes again. ¿Time slowed down incredibly. ¿It was amazing. ¿Now, I realize this was all perception, but that is probably the only time that can happen.

It can happen other times.

Pilots launched from aircraft carriers note that time seems to slow down when they launch. This is due mostly to their senses trying to catch up with the sudden change.

And of course, a pleasurable moment can seem to be over very quickly, where a painful one can seem to last hours.

It's really a matter of perception unique to the observer. Time travels at light speed. ¿What we're experiencing is the observer effect.

Time doesn't really "travel".

WE travel IN time.
