I just finished this book. This was fan-freaking-tastic! I loved every sentence in it! It's another William Shatner ST novel. I don't think I've ever read as exciting of a ST book before. This one had me at the edge of my seat nearly the whole book, and as such I couldn't put it down. I finished it in like a day and a half. It directly ties into the 2nd book, "ST: Dark Victory", which I just started. This one has it all boys and girls: The Mirror Universe, a Mirror Janeway & Voyager, Mirror Picard, Mirror Spock, The Enterprise-E & its crew, and Kirk, Bones, Spock, & Scotty. And then the shock ending which leads to "ST: Dark Victory" just blows you away! You're like "no way...I've got to get the next book even it means killing a man today." I don't want to really throw down any final judgement on it though till I finish ST: Dark Victory, and then a 3rd one, "ST: The Preserver", which finally wraps it all up into a Mirror Universe Trilogy.

Well I hope you liked Spectre because, IMO, it was the best of the three... meaning, the other two don't quite measure up as well.
