That's interesting!

Wow, yeah, even with 6 crew members per escape pod, you're looking at a death rate of 97% before you call abandon ship!

None of you are right
Best ship is the USS enterprise NCC 1701-D.
At least it has the best captain in the Federation.
If you want lots (and i mean LOTS) of guns then you want a klingon Neg'Varg warship.

I hope they keep that Sacagawea from the original vesion of STO. If they wanted to do a TOS type game with new vessels I like the Roosevelt here or heres another TNG+ ship I like called the Diligent. I really Like the Sac and the Dil because I think they would make good starter ships for new "Crews" or "Guilds". Small, 10-25 people, but thats just my hopes of the game that you as a guild work up in ship size as you grow and progress as a guild.

I think that there should be a data-base for naming starships, but you should be able to submit a name for review.

My Dream Ships-
U.S.S. Deimos- Galaxy Class
U.S.S. Temeraire- Akira Class
U.S.S. Missouri- Nebula Class

I remember that was an idea a few years ago, but it always got a lot of flak for some reason. (I think because in WoW you can name your guy PRETTY MUCH whatever you want) But I happen to like that idea or at least a close adaptation of it and it seems to fit with Star Trek.

I agree with the list of choices for names but yeah I do like the submitting a name for approval idea. Maybe restrict it to Captain and up?
but I would want USS Serpentine - Akira Class
dunno why just came to me playing SFC3 one day lol, and the Akira is awesome, I just love the shape. Like I used to love the Miranda too that's why Wrath of Khan is one of my fav movies.

A pity there won't be any Changelings in the game. I would enjoy playing one. Oh, well. . .

Don't be so sure about that.
