"The Black Shore", "Marooned", "Caretaker" and "Her Klingon Soul" are the best books.

But most of them are great, in many cases better than the TV episodes.

My bookreviews here.

Captains Table no 4, Fire Ship - Diane Carey

Thought this was a fantastic book, absolutely hooked on it.
And you don't need to read the rest of the Captains table series to understand it.

Thats very true i did love that book, though in the grand scheam of things it doesnt go very well, because she is on that ship over a year in the book. and that doesnt play well into the rest of voyagers timeline. but I agree its a great book, i read it twice.

Yeah, it doesn't fit with the rest of the series very well...but still a damn good book :)

Anyone else find the two Spirit Walk books to be..not overly good?

It's a complete dissapointment for me. I expected better from Christie because of her previous books such as Marooned, Homecoming and Farther Shore.

Anyone else feel like the Spirit Walk books were missing another chapter or book? The second book doesn't have an ending!!!! She left so many things hanging

I remember feeling unsatisfied with the ending (I read them years ago, and can't bring myself to pick em up again).

Was also a bit peeved about the length..they seemed a lot shorter than most trek books - would have been better as one book rather than two (or so says my wallet)

That's just the type of writing she does, IMO...

so many unresolved plot threads.  It's like a child who takes toys out of the toy box, plays with them for 30 seconds, then leaves them out in the middle of the floor, forgotten...
