I wouldn't mind PVP as long as it is not all over the space. Like maybe set areas that are easily avoidable. Have some in solar systems, a couple in asteroid belts, and some in open space.

I agree with interstelic battels, Roumlans vs Fed, eta intell the Expanion comes out, but guild wars is a win win, WHo want lots of pvp, there you have it, you dont then ignore it. |

Um, i totally want it. Game isnt worth the majority of actual "gamers" time without pvp. Ive played them all, and im still an EvE player (almost 3 years now). PvP can make or break a game. |

Well then go back to EvE, that game was totally built for it, where as a 40 year old franchise was not built for senseless violance and ego to see who's ship was bigger and better then the other's |

I agree with both of you. yea like some areas are pvp most arnt.
And Iv never played BC and im not saying its a bad game its just not that meny people play it and anf I also agree that pvp can make a game or ruin it. And if there will be good ship to ship pvp then its gona be one of teh first when a group of people in one ship vs another, All talking to each other ON teamspeak (if the game dosnt have some typ of talking and typing) One guy at guns the other at helm, other at sensors find weak points in shelds it just sounds so fun with a group of guy (or girls) that just want to pvp.
And yes fed vs fed is kinda werd but look at legcy, i mean it is kinda fun for the people saying, hell yea janeway can kick piccards a$$ or what ever.

Ok well the nerds who just want to learn the rules and act like picard and crap like that and you hate pvp, then just leave the dam post or say nicely, no i disagree i think this game could make it with out pvp. And il say ok thanks for you post, or debate nicely of what you think. I do not give a s4it about you if your gona be rude.
And yes, I like star trek, but im also a gamer, and i know a good game and whats not a good game. And yes exploring the galaxy (alpha quradant) sounds fun and doing quest for klingons and carrdasans (sorry im not a great speller) but a game needs to be able to give the option for good PvP. Im not saying to turn the game into a all out war and killing and phaser on vaporize. I cant wait for the quest and meeting a NPC version of Janeway or picard or what ever. But the game needs to have a option pvp, sorry that im keep on saying the same thing but its true if this game wants to be known it has to have pvp. the game dosnt have to evolve around it, but it needs it.

The game can and probably will be known through it rather well known franchise. Star Trek. The name alone will be enough to bring the flocks. It doesnt need PvP to be known, popular, or have new fans to come play the game. |

WIll it be known? IM sure a little but star trek hasnt been the greatest of creating video games. And if they want this game to flourish then they need more then the normaly star trek gamers to play this game.

A game dosnt need to revolv around PvP but if the game is know for it, then people will come for pvp. And they will get into the quest and learn that this game isnt what they think, not only is the pvp amazing but the quest if fun, and no i dont care what you say, the people who make this game want money, i dont think they will mind if people are coming for pvp if it gets players in the game. Once again it dosnt have to revlove around pvp but it can be there and star trek pvp is gona be very fun!
