I think what we're all thinking about is the places where we could go with Data on the holodeck. Make love on the galaxy's most beautiful beaches, in any building from any era, in any luxurious bedchamber, in a rainforest, on Saturn's rings...

If I had a holodeck in my house, I would most likely never leave home! Imagine the infinite possibilities! i could create a gym of all sorts of gadgets and contraptions; a kitchen so enormous and complete I could cook whatever I wanted, ate and not gain an ounce; a sex den of all sorts of hunky men and do 'em bareback and not concern myself of getting STDs and it won't be considered cheating; play Live Action D&D games!!! Endless, I say! Endless possibilities!!!

I'd definately have programs for various romantic exploits

i'd probably programme my favorite movies and/or series like the othe day i watched nightmare before christmas and found myself wondering how that would look on a holodeck. or even lara croft tomb raider.

I would program holographic representations of classic ballparks such as Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds, and old (pre-renovation) Yankee Stadium and see a game at every one of them...
