wood you like to see a real star ship to be built on land and see it full size, of a star ship enterprise ncc1701 from the TOS tv show. don't let no one say it can't be dun it could be dun any where, where the land has train track to bring the items can be put together each parts.
if you like to see it give input?

I would like to see it, yes, but not on land. It is not logical (no I'm not a Vulcan! ) it would make a lot more sense for it to be done in spacedock/station or whatever. How much fuel would you waste just trying to make it lift off? And you'd have to add largely unneccesary parts to make it do that.

Are you talking about a full scale model, or the real deal?
If we had the technology, then I'd say yes. However, I wouldn't build it on land, but in orbit.

Take a cruise. Around the Caribbean.
It leaves from the port of Miami, and after a few days, arrives at the beautiful island of a place I call "Reality".
You need to go there.

because no company would want to spend the money on something that may or may not bring in revenue. its cool yeah. but think of the costs to make a mock up, and then think how many people would come to visit it on a regular basis. the fees you would need to charge to cover the costs would be immense. Does paramount even have a theme park that they could put this at? Maybe if they had an equivalent to Disney World it could be a feasible attraction, but something like this wouldn't be able to stand on its own. Its less of a logistical thing and more of a business thing. To legitimize it to some corporate suits they have to have a healthy profit margin.

real thing? so where pray tell is the dilithium and anti-matter coming from? is there some kind of secret mine somewhere that all the worlds governments & scientists have missed but Kenny has found seriously, isnt there somewhere is the USA with a scale mock up of the Enterprise? Would be a cool idea |
