^ Thanks for the comment on Harbinger. I'm glad you feel it does justice to the Original Series era.

You are welcome. I also have 'Reap the Whirlwind' which I am going to read next. There is a line in the movie, "Nemesis" which, I think, captures what really has gone wrong with Star Trek. While preparing for a conference with a new species who hopes to join the Federation, Capt. Picard makes the comment, "do you remember when we used to be explorers?" I would love to see Star Trek return to that kind of ideaology. The tag line for Star Trek is, after all, 'Space ... the Final Frontier'.

Do you own and/or have you read Vanguard: Summon the Thunder by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore? It's the second book in the series, and though I recap whatever you might need to know from that book in Reap the Whirlwind, the reading experience will, I think, be more satisfying if you've read the second volume of the series. (It's just a suggestion -- read what you want, when you want.)

Harbinger (Vanguard #2) by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore.

Harbinger was Book One by yours truly; the second book in the Vanguard series is Summon the Thunder.

OMG! It's David Mack! You're one of my favorite ST authors. ¿One more chapter to read in Vanguard: Reap the Whirlwind. This is an excellent book. I love this series. All of the characters in the book are great, especially T'Prynn. Are you writing the next book in the Vangaurd series?

Ok I've finished Reap the Whirlwind, very cool ending, now I can't wait untill the next book.

I have to know:
What happens to Reyes and T'prynn my two favorite characters of the book.
What happens in Xiong's lab and are they experimenting on Tholians.
And what in the world is in that sarcophagus-I hope it's really, really evil. Has to be if Zett is afraid of it. :p

There's great information about Titan at Memory Prime, the Star Trek Wiki, at the following URL: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Portal:Main

You'll also be able to find some decent pictures of it by doing a Google search for "Star Trek Titan" under the Image Search.

I recently just started reading Star Trek books again after a lengthy (meaning years) break. I finished the three Titan books, read books 5 and 6 of New Frontier, and I just finished A time to Be Born and A Time to Die. Started reading A Time to Sow today and I'm 50 pages in. Once I finish up with the Time to.... books, I have Immortal Coil, and then I plan to read Death In Winter, and Resistance when it comes out in August.

I'm really looking forward to the relaunch of Next Gen in novels. I have high hopes for the new line..... Also still hoping CBS allows them to resurrect Data as was clearly intended at the end of Nemesis.
