Do you think there are other worlds in the universe, that have intelligent lifeforms capible of space flight- or is humanity the only intelligent lifeform in the universe?
Is earth the only world with any form of life?

I think other worlds know about us- and alien astronauts have visited earth-but they have a prime directive, and have not made thier presense known to all of humanity- We are still waring with ourselves over land and religion- no doubt humanity is seen as too hostile to welcome into any real Federation of planets....

To think that there isn't other intelligent life in our universe is pure idiocy.

define intelligent life... sentient beings perhaps?

Intelligence doesnt mean sentient.

Cats and dogs are intelligent, but sentience is questionable.

Sentientas it appears on Dictionary.com
1. having the power of perception by the senses; conscious. ¿
2. characterized by sensation and consciousness. ¿
?noun 3. a person or thing that is sentient. ¿
4. Archaic. the conscious mind. ¿
and then Intelligence is a property of mind that encompasses many related abilities, such
as the capacities to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly...

Sentience isnt a necessary pre-requisite for intelligent life though.

Lots of 'Intelligent' species on earth arent 'Self-Aware'.

For a very, very long time the largest life-forms on the Earth were one-celled organisms; for over a billion years thats all there was.

So its very likely that alot of planets with life, will have this life in its smallest forms.
