I think ST: Ecounters is a great game for PS2. The only things I didn't like was the theme tune to it, you can't unlock The propper borg cube, there is only 2 levels with the Enterprise -E in it and the USS Voyager kept on swerving every were.

this game sucked, the camera was reli crap, the controlls were dodgy, the game play was stupid and the scales of every thing was f**ked. this was the last game i got before i got the xbox 360, i also got the new star trek; legacy game, now this is what a trek game should be.

I couldn't get past a certain TNG level... I believe it was the third. ¿I destroyed all the radioactive asteroids like it told me to, but nothing else happened. ¿It didn't continue. ¿I tried restarting the level a couple times but it did the same thing. ¿I even explored the whole playable area to see if there was something else, but nothing. ¿Anyone know what's going on?

Head for the yellow dot. I think. Anyone know what the number next to the missions are in the menus after you have completed them?

I did. There were no more yellow dots and I searched the playable area to see if any showed up. Nothing.

Thats wierd. I will do it again see if i can think of anything that may help. I know a cheat if you like. get a high score on onslaught mode and enter your name as 4jstudios you have to type it lower case, I haven't tried this yet but apparently it works, it unlocks all levels and ships.

Thanks I might try that. Do you know of any cheats that may unlock only certain levels/ships? JW.

Thanks, I'll have to try those. ¿I might "borrow" my sister's memory card to do it though so I can leave the challenge of the game on mine. ¿She's only 10, she'll never know....

good thinking haha. i havent tried them yet, have completed the game but haven't unlocked everything yet. can't find all the voyager character cards, the voyager levels are hard. Think the Ds9 levels are best overall.

when you get, say, an engineer card (Trip, LaForge, etc.) I think it's your engines that increase in performance by 20%. When you find a captain card (Picard, Janeway, etc.) all ship's systems increase by 20%. It helps a lot.

The only thing i can fault about the game is the controls and I am sure the game great I cant get past the first mission. Its the bit where you have to go through the hoops in two minutes.
