Well I admit they did keep their promise and delivered a teaser site.
That is certainly a point in their favor.
BTW the site look very nice and sleek, I like the logo very much.

Welll, it's obvious that the release of the teaser site is just a way to distract from the fact that STO is about to be shut down.

you guys do realize that they weren't even planning on releasing any information about this game for a year before they did because someone screwed up with a image here on ST.com

i still feel for perpetual on this one. even though i doubt G&H will garner much in the way of a fanbase , and though i do like the screens ive seen i truly doubt it will be around to make the company any appreciable return on investment nor will it likely garner them accolades of praise. but i will wait and see myself.
Unlike some here i do honestly think STO will get made. it wont be in beta in 2007 , neither closed nor open. it will also likely not be released anytime in 2008 . Though to be fair i will wait and see. i am guessing SOE will have a hand in this game like they also do have in G&H. so they may push for release just to begin recouping losses.

Now that I can both understand and agree with. I think it may just be our personal taste, but I just dont get GnH, it doesnt really appeal. It crosses historical with mythology, so a semi historical fantasy world - which means it does have a niche - but yeah, just not my taste. |

OK... It's been a while since I've followed this with much detailed interest (50%+ of all multi-million dollar software projects fail, 90% are late and over budget), but I have to say that I can't even remember what the last word from PE was about their Alpha or Beta test cycles. Refurbished a couple of weeks ago and the news page has been kept up to date so far which lists the latest interview. If you took a nanosecond to scroll up to the top of the page you just posted on you would see people talking about it. If you expect word about beta though, maybe you should just stop being impatient. Theres a while to go yet

Daron said in his most recent interview that the release of a teaser website and the slow ramp-up of released information would proceed release by "about a year."
The teaser site is up. Since, we have seen two interviews from Daron. Expect a very small, very closed beta this summer that will slowly open over the next year, with release next summer or fall.
