I do believe the 'battle-damaged' uniforms, because my guide said that there were some made for different parts of the ride. This would also make sense, because when STTE first opened there were people walking through the Grand Coridor, so it would be logical for people to have been injured during a klingon attack.

You also have to remember that with the height of the aft of the bridge, not only was it code, but originally people werent going to be going to the forward part of the bridge to be able to really notice the error in the height. It wasnt until the Bridge Photos and the Tour came along that people were allowed in the front of the bridge.

Yes, but the tunic I rented (that was ripped) was nowhere near the quality of what the actors use at The Experience. They do not rent Uniforms as worn by the actors/employees. In fact, they were quite clear in pointing that out before we rented. It was simply a cheap pullover tunic as sold at costume shops and the like: eBay: Adult XL Star Trek The Next Generation Uniform Shirt Co So, the notion that they rented a "battle damaged" tunic just doesn't hold water. My actual point seems to have gotten lost: We were given no choices in tunics, be it color or even size, despite the fact that I saw a variety of colors and sizes on the rack.

I really dont think that we can determine if this window does exist, because they would change things in the show whether it be the sets, costumes, or the model itself to fit into the story line.

It is true that set windows and filming models were not always consistent throughout TNG. For example, the Ten-Forward Lounge set was not introduced until the 2nd season. The set contained 3 sets of windows, with three windows in each set: thin-wide-thin.

These windows did not correlate with the windows as seen on the 6 foot ILM model. However, when the new 4-footer was built for season 3, this was corrected and the ten-forward lounge windows were properly depicted (and even illuminated!). Still, stock footage of the ILM model was occasionally used throughout the series, so in those cases, the windows were out-of-place.

For Star Trek: Generations, the ILM model was reused, and ILM attempted to correct the bow to more accurately depict the Ten-Forward Lounge windows (amongst several other modifications and changes to the model). They really didn't quite get it right, however, as the three sets of windows were proportionally spaced too far apart on the model to properly coincide with the Ten-Forward Lounge set windows.

As far as the Experience Grand Corridor is concerned, the horizontal window is the real issue, as windows have never been oriented in that manner on any part of the upper saucer on any of the filming models, or on any of the sets. (I also contend that all of the windows in the Experience Grand Corridor are really too wide to properly coincide with the filming model windows.)

Having just done both "experiences", and as a long-time Trekkie (yes--you read that right! :p), I quite enjoyed the Star Trek Experience. Was it perfect? No--but it was fun, and the best value in Vegas. That includes, BTW, dinner at Quark's. Twice. (Okay, on two different days.) If you haven't been, go and enjoy. Bring gold-pressed Latinum...you'll need it for all the stuff you KNOW you want to buy...!

Are you saying that the model was reworked after Generations? If so, I don't think that is the case. As near as I can tell, the overhaul for Generations was the last time the model was reworked.

Or, perhaps, are you saying that when the model was reworked more window configurations were altered and/or modified? Aside from the 10-forward lounge windows, I believe all other windows are the same as was originally built on the model.
