| Quote (Passionfruit @ Sep. 30 2006, 4:20 am) | I'm doing a weekly episode poll. You can use the links to access the polls & vote. A little request before you visit the polls: Please don't bump up a lot of polls at once just by writing short responses like "I give it a 7". Write why you give the episode this rating/ share some trivia & backround information/ ask a question or share your thoughts on some details. You can also vote without posting. I update the old polls regulary, it doesn't depend on which page they are. (This is just to protect the board from being flooded.)

OH MY WOW! YOUR THE PICKIEST WATCHER EVER! Day of Honor was not worth that many stars. One of the 2 or 3 eps I don't like. Caretaker isn't the best ep, but it had no flaws. They were starting a series that was a good idea. But the first with getting them lost was hard and I have to commend there work. End Game not Memorable! That was totalling awsome! Granted the act was wrong, but the Borg needed a good kick in there pants! Threshhold wasnt crap. Your crap. Worst ep of voyager - Barge of the Dead... They only did 1 good Klingon ep in Voyager. That was the one about B'launa's daghter being the choson Ku'vo'muk. I put it this way because only those who watched this ep would know it. LOL. I want to keep it a surprise, its a funny epicode!

I saw Endgame for the first time just the other day. I have to say I thought it was well done. Both in a storyline way and visually. I really like the idea of Janeway violating temperal laws regardless of what the Federation thinks or even the crew and herself. She wanted to make right her bad decisions that caused Voyager to get lost in the Delta quadrint in the first place. The use of the Borg as the main conduit to getting back to the Alpha quadrint was masterful. Gives the "way home" a legit ending. I realize Voyager had already gotten home but Janeway making a definitive effort to lie, cheat and steal let me know she really did love her crew as people and viewed them as a real family and in the end sacrificed herself in the Borg cube.

Voyager is the last series for me to get into. I watched TNG when it was originally broadcast and caught DS9 on DVD. Because I'm in the Army, I missed the original Enterprise broadcasts, but caught them on DVD as well. Now, that I'm taking a sabbatical from school, I'm finally watching VOYAGER. It sucks. But it's growing on me! The Doctor, in my opinion, saves the whole series and deserves his own role in a future Star Trek series/movie. Hell, he's a hologram, so it's possible, right?! Paris annoyed the heck outta me, but the Paris-Kim relationship is starting to feel like Bashir-O'brien...which is great! I still hate the captain. Her only redeeming quality is that she is so reminiscent of Katherine Hepburn. I hate the bun. I'll let you know how the series grows on me.

MEMBERS: copy and paste this thread and send it to CBS so we can get an unbiased, more professional staff running this site. Admin & Mod's refuse to answer any emails, p.m.'s, or threads questioning the recent banning/suspension of several long time members of St.com. The Admins & Mod's will not tell these banned or suspended members how they violated the Terms of Service on St.com, and how long their suspension will be in effect. The recently suspended members cannot even ask Admin what their suspension was based on, because their p.m. priviledges were removed by Admin. And don't even both emailing them at Community@startrek.com They will not answer. I believe they don't tell the banned/suspended members what they did wrong, because there WASN'T ANY VIOLATION COMMITTED. Otherwise, why would Admin remain silent. The Admin of St.com have also recently banned several ISP numbers, which bans innocent people with that same ISP. One public ISP number banned covers three separate states!. That means that even guests who want to view the message boards here on the Star Trek XI movie are blocked. I wonder what the Adverstisers on this site would think about that?? This is a travesity. This is a dictatorship. And this is totally unfair to the seasoned long time members of St.com who kept this site active and fesh for many years, making more than 20,000 posts so the Advertisers would continue to pay CBS/Paramount. If we, the members of St.com do not get a more UNBIASED, professional acting staff running our beloved site, I will be taking a PETITION to the 2009 Star Trek Vegas Convention next month getting hundreds of fans to sign for the removal of the current Admin staff here. I won't have any trouble getting signatures, as so many Star Trek fans have left this site years ago due to mis-management by Admin. In closing, I know the UNPROFESSIONAL, dictatorship style Admin staff here will just delete this thread, and ban my ISP. But I have about 20 different ISP's to come back and post this thread again and again until we get some answers! What you can do to help: Go to CBS.Com and post your complaint about St.com in the television show feedback at the bottom of the page. No email address or registration is required. Post in every television show they have. If they get enough complaints to forward to the Powers that Be, maybe something will be done. Back to top

"Message In A Bottle"
*My choice for fav show 'entire' is based almost completely on my personal entertainment meter. Great fun with witty dialogue. I know, I know. Some people have argued that simple entertainment is not to be viewed as carrying much weight (in human existance) and I give cheers to them in their quest for their existance in their own way. Pure entertaining enjoyment doesn't have to be another's choice, but it can be and is one of mine.
The sets were just similar enough to my home starship Voyager to make me comfortable (YAY! I'm still in a spaceship) and different enough in style and color to make me sit up and take notice.
It has the Doctor doing what he does well in my opinion; having, dealing with, overcoming multiple opposing (& were they mine, debilitating) overwhelming emotions while learning skills to handle new and maybe devistating challenges, at break neck speed, and with continuous witty dialogue. Andy Dick is often not appealing to my senses, but I do admit when he is on his game he does great things & I find few to rival him. The writing was to my mind top notch and Andy Dick was at his best.
The Doctor and EMH2 obviously came from the same mold, couldn't see it, and lambasted each other for flaws we the audiance saw were the same in both. They also both have these opposing emotions & abilities running through them simultaneously, having to do with the small amount of time they have been alive to get experience vs. their enormous programming (or brain ability if you wish). RP and AD take me with them like I am watching an IMax show.
And FUNNY!
Paris: I'm a pilot, Harry, not a doctor.
EMH2: I'm a doctor, not a commando.
EMH2: We don't use scalples or leaches anymore.
Doctor: I was saving Voyager from anialation when you were only a gleam in your programmer's eye.
We see the EMH2 start to follow the same path the Doctor embarked upon. When the Doctor was first activated Kes made him see his program is no different from anyone else's "mind" and the Doctor began to conceive himself possibly more than just and emergency medical hologram. In a nice full circle kinda way we see the Doctor passing his experience, which the EMH2 is lacking, on to his metaphorical and real, next generation.
Then the show ends with my captain (yes I accept that others may be differently enclined to view her or compare her to her Star Trek peers unfavorably, and even though William Shatner's Captain Kirk will always have my heart, Kate Mulgrew's Captain Katheryn Janeway is the Star Trek captain I have bonded with) sooooo...... when, at the end of the show, my captain says: "60,000 lightyears doesn't seem so far away today" in that throaty voice KM uses when Cpt. Janeway is holding tight to emotions I feel exillerated and metaphorically feel as if I have just risen from a table with fine food & drink, entertaining conversation, and dessert.... with icing.

I loved Endgame and had a few fantasies fullfilled there. Also, it is a time travel ep and they are my fave, e.g. Year of Hell which is my favourite Voyager and bettered (or equalled)only by Yesterdays Enterprise in STNG for me.

Question? I am rereading my voyager novels. ¿What comes after "Spirit Walk" vol 2?? ¿I know the story expands on the Khuva'Magh, but I can't find the next title. ¿I have it somewhere!

How would you rate the episode "Nothing Human"? I was impressed that Voyager was able to explore a moral dilemma without it feeling forced or one-sided.
