Star Trek

I have bought a pack of DVDs with first season of Voyager because I have never seen this series complete. In Spain I could buy a collection of 4 episodes that I enjoyed very much. TV channels here done have any interest in this series. I hope recive soon may pack to begin to watch this Star Trek adventurse sense first episode.

I love the 1st season!!!!

I hate it, not many episodes and the stories are ok

I did too, I thought it was the best first season of the franchise. With TOS close behind.

 Season 1.  Caretaker 1&2:  10. This episode introduces the crew and the reason the Voyager is lost.

Eye of the Needle: a 10.  The crew makes contact with a Romulan ship in the Alpha Quantrant but he cannot pass on the information to Star Fleet because he is further back in the past where there is no contact between Romuans and Star Fleet.  What a dissapointment for the crew.

Ex Post Facto: a 10.  Paris is convicted of murder on an alien world and his punishment is reliving the murder from the victims point of view every 14 minutes.  I would go crazy, but not unconvinced that it wouldn't be a just punishment for people such as Charles Manson, Jeffry Dahlmer, or until recently Osama bin Laden.

Emanations: a 9.  Kim is transported to an alien world at the same time a dead body arrives on Voyager.  What a difference a different beliefe systom makes!  Can we accept that in the Star Trek Universe?  Yes, but in our own time we find it hard.

State of Flux. a 8. Captain and officers attempt to flush out a spy who is sending info to the Kazon. What a snake Seska was!!

Faces: a 10, my favorite.  B'E;anna is split into her human and Klingon halves by the Vidiians.  Great episode showing why a person needs all sides of their personalities to be whole.

Jetrel. a9.  Much to the dismay of Neelix a Haakonian arrives on Voyager. That is the race that killed Neelix's family.  A GREAT episode for Neelix who no longer plays the clown.

Season 2 next time.  all opinions are mine and no-one has to agree.
