Interesting. What does Gott have to say about paradoxes?

His books mention it and cover several ways of handling it, he trend to support the view that paradox will be prevented by the nature of physical reality, that moving into the past the traveller will run into events that would prevent him from altering the outcome...

Do you agree or disagree with his assessment of paradoxes?

I am open to it, but like all theories we need to be able to test it. I my self like the idea that the past present and future are changable and that time is fluid.

Call me crazy..

Nah! You're not crazy at all. You're an extremely intelligent individual. :)

I'm just curious as to why you think time is fluid?

From what i have read about loop Gravity, where space/time acts like a super fluid. If this is the case The shape of space time would determine how we experience time..

Are there currently experiments to prove this?

They are several experiments being conducted, one involving observing the redshift of light from distant quasars, if loop gravity is correct the redshift would have small fluctation that would match the actually quantization of space.

Other involve an experiment that is to be launch into obrit in the next year, where we observe interaction of a matter wave and how any phase shift due to fluctation of these tiny area of space as describe in loop gravity..
