hi thanks for the opertunaty to fire some questions at u

1 is there something othere than these forums for fleets to be in contact with PE not includeing normal emails and such as i am forming a fleet councle to have a single voice with which to speak to u and and unify questions

2 will there be collectable items and loot in the game

3 will the game be instanced ie when u leave a city will it be just ur party or will u be able to roam free

4 will there be player houseing or colonies even allowed in the game

5 will space travele be instant or will it use condenced time

6 will player races have race specific skills like vulcans will they be able to mind meld

7 is it true that ship to ship combat will be in a 2d movement envirment if yes why so 3d movement would allow for much greater scope of play and tactics

8 will there be unexplored space and planets and will u be able to name them if there is

9 will there be sub factions in the game ie RED SQUADREN or religious groups and so possibly giveing extra or special skills

10 what is the new race :) what what

11 will there be worm holes and will be able to use them such as the worm hole at ds9 ?

12 will space be open of instanced

13 will players be able to own there own ships outside of federation as in haveing ur own transport or even better

14 will there be crafting

15 will players be able to own there own buisnesses such ten forward or quarks

16 will there be elite classes such as section 13

17 how many classes are planed for lanch

18 will we be able to customies our toon

so many questions lol i think thats enough for now i could rattle on all day here

One thing - Federation aren't looters;
How will Starfleet personnel gain unique items and accessories from there PvE experiences without breaking the continuity of non-materialists??

- I too, would like to know the level of customisation we will have for our player character. Obviously the more choices the better considering we will all be wearing uniforms of only 3 colours with little else in the way of belts, accessories etc.

- I would also like to know how multiplayer ships will be able to engage in fast paced space combat? Technologically keeping track of several hundred people walking around a ship that is also moving through space is a highly challenging aspect of the design (even if the ships are instanced).

- How will orders be given and how will you ensure people follow them, when in the past such hierarchy has NEVER worked in anonymous MMORPG (Clans/Teams included) structures?

1. How will communication be handled? Specifically: Between players and other players will it be text only or will there be an option for VoIP? and when NPC's talk to players will it be text only or will you be able to hear them "speak"?

2. There has been mention of an economic style system, could you provide some instances for what players would require money (outside decorating quarters), especially since the economic system in place within the star trek universe is made primarily of non-materialists? (except the ferengi's, of which I will certainly play one if given the option)

How will the command structure work with regards to rank?

How will rank be attained?

How will skills be developed and what kind of skills will be available amongst the various professions?

What about mixed-species characters?  There are several in the series like Spock, Troi, and K'Ehleyr, so will there ever be any option to play a character who's half Klingon, half human or something?

What will be the extent of things you can do when your character has technical prowess?  How creative will you be able to get?  Will you be able to bypass security codes, manipulate force-fields, rig site-to-site transporters, or the other sorts of things that skilled engineers and technical people can do on the show?

What kind of species-specific traits will there be?  I mean, some are obvious, like Klingons being good at physical things and Vulcans being good at mental things, but what about species like Bajorans and humans?

You said earlier that joining will be an option for Trill, so what will joining do for your character?  Will the symbiont have a history that affects gameplay?

And this may seem trivial, but will Bajorans be able to customize their earrings?

My other questions have already been asked by other people.  Thank you for giving us this opportunity!

1. I want to learn everything I can, I dont want to unlearn things to make room for more skills. What type of skill structure are we going to use? limited or Freedom ( key is limited because MMORPG turns into LMORPG ) The skys the limit or the limits the sky.

2 Ship battles and Flight control should have a more serious interface instead of generalised. The Captian can yell all he
wants but the coms has control of the ship. (responsibility)  who ever has flight control  should have a high recommendation from peers before piloting the ship (  * commendations * )  will commendations play a bigger role then just paper work?

3. Command stucture: is there going to be command structure in the sense of penalties and commendations. not only penilties and commendations but also effeciency ratings? for example from order to execution timing and completness of the task. that way when scanning for people do mission ( as a commanding officer ) from the pool of people onboard and Online aboard ship.

4. ground combat: HP or one shot kills? ensign rookie took 30 phaser blasts before dieing another ensign what happened it should have taken 100. if we are trying to recreat TV show feel  not many take more then 2 shots to go down and most die from one shot. if we are talking stun  that is differnt.

5. so we know perma death is not going to happen how are we going to deal with deaths? wake up in sick bay   and when in ground combat rebeam down at the transport beam down location?

6. What ships will be mapped out and playable. I know that can not be answer at release but what ship do you want to have ready for release?

7. what ranks can be obtian and order in which we can progress and end up at?
ensign, Lt, Lt Commander, Commander, Captian colonal lt colonal rear admiral and admiral.
I am probobly missing lots.

8. who is developing the new threat? and what are the main goals in the developing the balance of power in the galaxy?
for example name of person in charge of workgroup
if its a war then where are they going to come from in this large yet limited galaxy.

Will there be ship yards in the game or after your ship is destroyed to a certain point you get it fully repaired ?

If there are going to be ship yards, will we be able to control them or will they be npc controlled ?
