It has been a great ride here for me@The Casino Royale Poll/Thread.
Casino Royale has been on the General Discussions board for a little over a year now.
The original concept was to check the pulse of ST.COM board members concerning their opinion as to when we Trekkies/Trekkers would again see another Start Trek episodic series air.
And also to provide a place for newbies to have a safe haven on these very caustic boards.
But it has become much more than that.
Over the past year there have been many additions and course corrections to Casino Royale.
In the beginning I couldn't even pay people to post in Casino Royale...LOL
But, through patience and perserverance and good friends...and you know who you are, Casino Royale has become a familiar watering hole for many board members.

But now my personal life has become very, very busy as of late and I am unable to devote the time needed to keep the casino fresh and entertaining for you folks.
I have been handed a "brass ring" of sorts, and I will be very, very busy for the next 3 to 4 years on a great project.
So...I am offering 1 board member the opportunity to take control of Casino Royale.
All board members with a minimum of 500 posts under their belt are welcome to submit their proposals.
Board members who submit a proposal should...at the very least...be familiar with the TNG episode "The Royale" which is the basic story line for this Poll/Thread.
I have also weaved in the concept of the original "James Bond" movie "Casino Royale" to embellish the basic story line.
And of course DS9's "Morn" character took some of his liquid latinum and bought the place from the Federation and became the "Empresario" of Theta VIII(Planet Richey) and Casino Royale.

Please submit all proposals thru PM to my BIGMORN character.
Do not post your proposal on the board...that will disqualify any proposal you submit.
Please include any questions or comments about Casino Royale in your proposal.
All proposals must list any changes or ideas you may have to improve Casino Royale in the future.

Your age,
Your gender,
How long you have been a Trekkie/Trekker,
And you country of residence.

Proposals will be accepted thru August 26, 2006

And the official handoff will be made on August 31, 2006
