Star Trek Would you like to see local missions on planets?

Hey gang, I was watching an old episode of TNG, and I got an idea.

The EP was about Natasha (Tasha) Yar getting mixed up in local politics, and she had to fight this other woman due to this local leader. Bottom line the Enterprise went on a mission to the planet, and Tasha got mixed up in this side action.

So in STO, when you take your PC ship out on missions, would you like to see events from local governments on the different planets, spawn side missions if you will, that can happen to anyone on your ship?

You will have your missions from Starfleet, but maybe a smaller event mission happens from a local government offical or family on the planets.

What do you think on this idea?

Looks like somebody saw yesterday's G4 marathon.

So did I, and I saw that episode. I would expect there to be many away missions on planets. As long as we don't interfere with, or change, the local goverment we should be ok.

The Prime Directive, lol. I would love to see missions like this, along with missions that you get from starbases that allow you to get onto a starship and go to a planet to help rebuild or help people after a disaster, like they have in the show, would be very cool. Hopefully they'll listen but ya never know.

Would be good to have side missions. say u are going to a planet for peace meetings or some kind of boring mission lol. Well u get there and something goes wrong and someone on ur crew got tied up in some kind of prom and hte command crew has to find a way to get u out or fix the prom. More of a slove the prom in a set amount of time. Would like to see timmers on missions. Such as u get a mission u have 15 mins to slove this part of the mission or 60 mins to slove the whole mission.
