Nope, nope, nope. Highly improbable. I'd give it a thousand years at least, and that's stretching it. In order to make it work, we'd have to know the human body on the subatomic basis and if we knew it that well, hell we could just manufacture human beings.

Nothing is impossible but it's safe to say that it's not going to happen in our lifetimes (even if anyone here is 10 years old).  Too many factors we don't know about.  Physics moves the slowest of all sciences, and what you're asking for is highly dependent on the advancement of that.

Consider that other methods could be discovered to move matter from one locale to another... people are insistant on demolecularizing a person atom by atom... but what if the space itself could be switched?

I'm not saying its possible, or has even been considered, but rather then tell ourselves the _imagined_ way isn't possible, (much like computers were in the 1930's), an alternate way (with the same results), could be possible.

i dont think it will happen in our generation or the generation of anyone thats alive. but that all depends on how far humanity will allow science to advance and how far the space program advances as well.

it is possible, but like i said i think we would probably have to compromise some of the ethics that some people have towards science.

people dont realise how fast a pace this world moves at. in the 60's automatic doors were laughed at..the car was only invented in the 40's. think what another 40 years will bring.
