Right now, I'd go for the grey and black ones, but with a bit more work, I'm sure that I'll like the perps ones.

continuity wise, we've seen the Federation Uniforms change dramatically every 5 years or so... If the game takes place 20 years after Nemesis... wouldn't it be logical to assume that the uniforms had changed at least twice since then?
I voted for Perpetual's design although I'd like to see them work towards what we saw in Voyager's alternate future in the series finale (i.e. full-shirt colours... something like TOS I guess).

Actually the uniforms introduced in Wrath of Khan were used through the time when Picard and Jack Crusher had graduated which would be like 50-60 years

i think uniforms should be varied, but race & profession specific.

I like PE's concept art for Uniforms, although it would be nice to allow the players to modify it somewhat... Say all crew on one Ship would have Voyager-esqe uniforms whereas another ship could have a slight deviation of the Nemesis uniforms. Still keeping the federation theme but being able to be recognised as a crew member of a certain ship.

I voted for PE's uniforms, because it allows allot of modifiying. I dont think it would be very nice to see exactly the same uniforms everywhere in a MMORPG.

Left with which uniform I prefer I think the DS9 grey, black uniforms still look better than the concept uniforms from Perpetual. I am not set in stone that we should have the dark grey ones and that the new ones are just a concept and can and probably will change but the ones they came up with im just not too excited about. "the one exception to the rule." Otherwise we've seen a pretty steady change. And did they really have the time/money to design a completely new uniform for what... three episodes? (The Enterprise-C had those uniforms as well as Picard when he graduated from the academy).

yeah but those uniforms looked good. As you can tell I'm a fan of those uniforms and I like how the TMP era had the utilitarian variations to duty uniforms depending on your given department. Security actually had protection instead of walking around in regular clothing, engineering had radiation protective suits and Scotty's utility varient.

PE's on the right track. Don't forget, uniforms are supposed to make people look, well, uniform. There's only so many differences they can include to make avatars look different, and keep the Star Trek feel.

I say go for the uniforms seen in Endgame and All Good Things... They're the ones that are supposed to be used in this era, after all.

The time lines changed, for all we know the big story for the game may be the consequence of Admiral Janeways (AJ) time travel....changed the future on a greater scale than she anticipated due to selfish goals.
Secondly they are alternate timelines :P It's the only way to avoid the paradox. If theres only one timeline...AJ came back and altered the past resulting in a changed future, how can she come back if the future is changed? She'd have no reason to come back, but if she didnt come back the future wouldnt be different so she'd come back and thus starts an impossible cycle that never ends unless.....different timelines/universe. Unless ofcourse they imposed the theory that once you leave you're own time you exist outside of time, but that tends more to connect with a multiverse theory than a singular universe. Time travel is riddle with paradox's.
