I would go with Proboards or Invisionfree. I had my fleet on the PHPbbforFree boardsa nd it didn't work out to well.

Now I got them relocated a few months ago back to the old Proboards again. Now I host a few of my ships in the fleet on startrekhosting.com.

If you wish for this, I could add some Simple Machines forum for you.

The position I usually do is Tactical Officer. You can usually think up a good number of excuses to post stuuf as a Tactical Officer. Helmsman is hard, because its mainly a character that's used for developing, as they don't solve problems too many times.

Watch stuff blow up
Fight, then blow stuff up
Cause things to EXPLODE(or blow up)
Have a discussion...then soimething blows up
Have a discussion ABOUT blowing things up
