Perhaps you've read about it. They are going to launch a sattellite that will "sail" on the solar-particles. it will keep accelarating and go faster and faster, further and further. i think it is a great developpement, and may be a milestone in space-travelling/space-technology if it works.

star trek DS9: Explorers is getting one step closer to reality.

(i started this thread in the DS9-board to, but it got immediately screwed up by some off-topic crap)

so, do you think this is great, or am i just dreaming and is it a stupid project?

the launch was a failure :(
they don't know if the space-craft is in space or not. they are now searching for it.

i agree but there is still the fact that if we go to fast the ship will blow apart. :logical:

it is already blown apart. it crashed before it even got into space :(

it was a failure :'(
