I Like EF1's story better, and some of the weapons were cool, and I wish I had them in EF2 (magnetic charge launcher on the grenade launcher). EF2 has smoother graphics though. I'd agree that the holomatch levels on EF1 were better than EF2's. My main quarrel with EF2 is that you couldn't play as The Doctor in the holomatch .

EF2 was "prettier" but I liked the game play of EF1 much better.
As far as the storyline for each... I liked EF2s a little better. The storyline for EF1 was kinda corny in some spots. Granted, I enjoyed it because the show (ST Voyager) was active at the time.

iN MY OPINION, ELITE FORCE 2 KILLED ELITE FORCE MULTIPLAYER. THE STORY FOR EF2 WAS BETTER AND THE WEAPONS FOR EF1 WERE MORE CREATIVE AND STAR TREKY

Defintely EF1, cos firstly it was a STAR TREK VOYAGER GAME and though basic compared with EF2, EF1 was so much better.

They're both very good for different reasons, but in the end, EFII got my vote. Activision did a very good job creating an atmosphere and mood, especially the USS Dallas level and Mononoke-inspired big tree level (Idryll). Can't beat wandering around a Sovereign-class, looking for gold starships, with Picard telling you to report to the bridge. I liked the story too. Wished more people played multi-player though.

I like them both for different erasons I prefer a game that isn't too dificult as I have a disability and I like a game that I have a chance of completing and EF1 provides that with also some pretty decent graphics EF2 is more of a challenge but in terms of graphics EF2 is slightly better for example in EF1 The Borg look just like the TV drones from Voyager but the humans looka little blocky. Whereas in EF2 they have a more cartoon look but unlike EF1 you cansee there expressions as they are talking which I like.As of yet I cannot complete EF2 although I still enjoy playing it . Unfortunately I can't really pick a favourite

I voted Elite Force 2.
I have Elite Force 1 for Playstation 2. Solid Game, but I feel as if Elite Force 2 for the PC nudges it out regarding gameplay, graphics, storyline (EF1 was borderline corny - and I dont mean that as a bad thing) and the ability to choose what response (in cutscenes) you want to make, and also Multiplayer.
Now granted, I dont have MP ability for Elite Force 1 on PS2. I do have MP for the PC, but the MP for Elite Force 2 is just plain cool. Always (and still do) have a good time with it.
