Lets see, I think the break down in starfleet is like this. Of course I might be wrong, so feel free to correct me ok hehe.

1. Engineering - Yellow uniforms
2. Science - Blue uniforms
3. Command - Red Uniforms

Engineering branches off in the following: Design, Computers, Engines, Shields and Weapons.

Science branches off in the following: Doctors, Research, Astromony and Genetics.

Command breaks down into the following: Navagation, Tactical, Operations and Captain.

I know there are times the color uniforms don't follow the breakdown, but this is only a basic over view.

So where would you start your Career in Starfleet, once you get STO? Nevermind we know nothing now, we know it will be Star Trek, and you can sign up with starfleet, so where will you start? I do believe what you pick will shape what your career path will be like. So where will you go?

reeeeal mature there. You dont like the game so you gotta ruin it for everyone else.

Well we'll all be sure to make sure you'll get your solo play, because none of us will welcome you aboard our ships. that way we can all laugh at you for wasting your money on buying a game just to annoy other players.

Actually I've got no plans to buy the game.. But it is a point of view no one ever looked at.. Not everyone wants the be the good guys.. And Sabotage is something that would really keep you on your toes

Then i guess STO isn't the game for them.

Or completely ruin your gameplay experience. Things like this should be part of a mission if anything and be done by NPCs.

I'd like helm. I hate to brag, but i am incredibly experienced and i have a great talent at piloting starships.

You guys, i've read through some of the threads in here, and even though i'd realy like all this, i really doubt they will include any of this. Don't raise your hopes yet. What you're proposing here is too close to a holodeck already. Maybe this kind of simulation-game will be made very soon. I already have a really great ideea i gave to a games producer in my country, but it's too costly for romania.

Hey, lots of people dont like playing the good guys, which is why I personallly believe that there needs too be an 'evil'esque alignment to reduce griefing.
Competition is a good way too reduce it.

Actually in my experience with online games the more competition there is the more immature people you get. If they got no real way to PWN J00 then they simply wont play the game.

Any greifers can easily be kicked out and replaced by an NPC until another one comes along.
