hummmm interesting, especially in the light that it is believed that antimatter is just matter traveling backward in time..

isn't that "anti-time"?
:)

I just want to point out that paradoxes cannot actually happen. A thing either is one way or is not that way.

That very simple thinking and totally wrong. One of my heros, Bertand Russell had the same idea, and spent 12 years of life attempting to erases the concept of Paradoxes from logic.

His work on Metalanguage, had the promise of creating a system of logic that would eliminate Paradoxes and allow the proving of all lesser system of logic's axioms and thereoms.

with a single equation Godel proved him incorrect and rendered his life work in vain....

Quantum Physics allows subatomic object to be and not to be or to assume multiple states of being. This is called Coherent and can be extended to macro collection of atoms.

That the power behind Quatnum computing. And Quantum Mechanics have tons of Paradoxes to observe, as in the case of the Delay Choice experiment that was discussed earlier in this forum.

Quantum mechanics is dealing in particles difficult to watch. It's possible that the equipment is not able to detect them properly. It's possible that the states of being somewhere yet not being there is actually merely a sort of motion. At any rate, it's not entirely understood. At any single point in all dimensions, a thing either is or is not. Even if I'm wrong on this point, my original point was on temporal paradoxes. If you alter the past, the future realigns itself alongside the "new" causes of the past. If I went to the past to tell myself not to drink some bad milk, I would remember seeing future me and the milk would not be drank. The only paradox is that I would then have no reason to go to the past to tell myself not to drink the milk. Future me becomes part of the present. If he travels back to the future, he will find a new person in his place. He would be an anomoly, but he would not be a paradox.

Still, time travel, in any meaningful sense, is impossible by current knowledge.

Impossible to watch? :O but we watch these particles all the time, better yet we are made up of these impossible to watch particles..Which means we are impossible to watch!!! Which would explain why all sexy young women seem to ignore me. :(

And your Example is a classic example of a paradox, if you didnot drink the Milk you would not have gone into the past to prevent it! Notice the Paradox? And how could your future self be in the past if you didnot travel into it.. It get weirder and weirder...

Face it Bob, Bertand Russell was conside a mind on the Scale of Einstein, he couldnot do away with Paradoxes and you cannot either.
