Atoms/molecules do not have odors.  When the molecules get together into a biological form - even a single cell - and has waste of it's own - does it smell?  Smell comes from bacteria - a living organism.

Just a side thought as to when you disperse the molecules of any kind of waste - it's not nasty anymore and you could replicate anything you'd like.  Dumping even watse atoms would be a waste of resources.
