Has anyone ever seen the bathrooms? Don't these people pee?
Even the brig seems to be without a toilet......?
I know it's a weird subject but, they never make any reference to it, except the Episode where sisco and jake(DS9) fly the ancient bajorian ship they built(not sure of the episode title)
Iv'e never seen a federation toilet!!
No bathrooms on a shuttle craft!
Seven of 9 and deana troi always wear those 1 piece jump suits, they have to completly strip down just to go to the bathroom(if they ever actually do??)
Just a weird observation!!

With transport technology they just beam it away, where do you think they get the raw matter for the replicator.:P

Not true, I have seen toilets on countless episodes. For expample, errr.....voyager season 5, the episode of the 29th century borg. That klingon woman went into the toilet for a sonic shower.
Insurrection, picard went into either a toilet or a closet room. Im not too sure.

You must take a look at STV, since the brig on USS Enterprise-A was fitted with at least one toilet, since Kirk used it to sit on after being upset by Spock.
Another one can be seen regulary in ST-VOY in the same rooms where the sonic showers are situated. It is a small, chair high box in the courner opposing the Sonic Shower in the same room, mostly under a mirror.

I think this may be a case of a misunderstanding of our common language. Toilet in this sense means the chair you sit on and do you buisness. The toilet that you are talking about is more commonly called the bathroom, or if you are using navy lingo, the head. And yes, I believe that a toilet has been seen. I can't think of the episode off the top of my head, but in TNG, there was an episode of this girl named Clara. She has an imaginary friend named Isabel (I think that's her name.) Anyways, at one point she goes to the bathroom in her quarters. There, you can notice a stool (but no water reservoir.)

I imagine they still have toilet facilities but there's probably some medical invention that allows one to take a pill (or hypospray) that automatically reduces solid and liquid waste quite a bit through some revolutionary chemical process. For instance, relieving oneself would only be required once a month. Starfleet personnel would be required to take the medication.

Of the things in life I know, I can't believe this is on the list. In the first season of Enterprise the crew makes that video for the kids from some 4th grade class. Each officer answered a question from them and Trip had to answer the question, "When people flush on Enterprise, where does it go?" The answer was something like, "It gets reprocessed through replicators and made into other things." So at least we know there were toilets in the 22nd century.
