K- I may be a little behind the "new" stuff for PS2, seeing as I've had it for 9 months only, but I happened to stumble upon this game: Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. At first, I thought the graphics were somewhat cheesy, and the controls got a bit of getting used to, but then I got into the game, and realized that my tutor, Tuvok, actually had Tim Russ' voice! The whole senior crew, as well as some others (like Crewman Chell [bolian]) actually had the original casting actor's voices! It was like acting out an additional STV episode!
Has anyone else come across this fantastic laystation> marvel?

Well it's just a port of the PC version....i've played the PC version tons of times, infact it was the first PC game I ever bought after I built my first game only PC.  Does the PS2 version have Jeri Ryans voice?  I remember the original on the PC didn't and you had to download the patch later on to get it.

"Star Trek Voyager Elite Force" for the Windows PC is probably the most popular and well received Trek game by the community. Along with the PS2, it was also ported to the Mac.

FYI, Trek actors have had a long history of doing voice work for Trek games, starting with Nimoy and Doohan in 1982 for the Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator arcade game (IIRC).

Yes, I have that game too, and yes, it does have Jeri Ryans voice. I beat it once with cheat codes. And about 9 or 10 times without.

Love that game, but not as much as I love "Star Trek: Shattered Universe" for the PlayStation2, which features the voices of George Takei (Sulu) and Walter Koenig (Chekov). And that game doesn't feature cheesy quotes like "Elite Force" does:

Janeway: "You did what you had to do. We all saw the alien visions."

I've been trying to decide rather or not to buy that game, is it good?

Shattered Universe was a let down i thought.  It was the first game I bought when I got my Xbox and the story is interesting the controls were horrible and the missions were just plain dumb sometimes....
"fly here to get resourses"  Why are you getting those?  Are they for the ship?  Do you have to trade them?  Is it fule for your ship?  I don't understand!!!
