Is it possible to have sims that arent ridiculously early in the morning (in GMT time they all are) to cater for British / European gamers?

Hi,
This topic has been discussed on our boards a number of times. The upshot is that we don't have anything in principle against running games for European simmers, but, we don't have the support staff to run such a game at this time. Running a sim requires 2 GMs who can attend regularly and administer the game. As far as I know, we don't have any European GMs yet. It would also require there to be an academy that's at a time accessible to European simmers so the game could be populated with players.
We do have some European players now in our regular sims. At some point, two of them might become GMs and decide to run a sim. One thing we won't do is schedule a sim until we can assure that it will be a good experience for everyone involved. Unfortunately, we can't do that yet.

Is the SIM done in a chatroom ?
and If one has had experience in simming, and is a Klingon, why does he still have to go through " StarFleet Academy?

Hey there, Yes, gaming within STSF is chat room based. The Academy graduation requirement is to make sure that all individuals who want to play within STSF have a solid understanding of how the game operates. If, once on an advanced sim, someone wishes to play a Klingon that would be their choice. However, within the Academy, the goal is to confirm everyone is familiar with the particular syntax and other features common to STSF.

Hi, I'm not sure what your tech problem was on Nov 28, but the site and chat room are working. If you haven't gotten to an academy yet, please do come, and say hi on the boards.

I'm sure there are European simmers that have their own games, so look for them rather than American ones.
