Heh,
when I fly with SBO I always name my ship after my wife. The USS Cherie. I know, sappy, but she supports the ship more that way! Let's me stay up late!

mine would have to be the USS Draconis, Soverign class, as its part of the roleplay on our forums and part of Bravelocos story, and i have always named my ship the draconis, it too has served me well on the dyna, and on the board games

Although it sunk due to a collision, I've allways thought the name ANDRIA DORIA was cool. In any game where I get to name a ship - thats the one I choose...

Your ship would be designated NCC not NX. NX is reserved for experiemental newly designed ships, until the experiment is declared a success at which case it get's redesignated with the NCC title. The Sovereign originally held the NX title, but when it was declared a success it was given the NCC title.

Fully aware of that Trevo. However, as it stands currently, the Divinity is an RPG vessel and is an NX vessel, due to its testbed vessel designation.

Ship names should have to pass some kind of evaluation process. Perhaps there should be contests.

YAH! That's the ticket .. contests for new, non-canon ship names, selected by the wiz's.
