Star Trek what would you name your ship?

I would choose the U.S.S. Orion-A Steamrunner Class. They better have several class ships, but keep it ballanced. To many defiant class ships would make it crappy.

. If not then it would have to be the USS Porthos - after all, if it hadn't been for Porthos all the canines on Earth would have been destroyed by the Xindi attack! If Archer gets a ship named after him (see Nemesis) then so should Porthos!

We don't know for a fact thet the U.S.S. Archer was named after Captain Archer. The only way we'd know for sure is if they actually said it was named after him in dialog.

True, but I think it's given that it must be him. One of the little trivia things they tend to slip into the movies. Either way, I'd like to think that he'd get a ship named after him anyway. Hey, on that note, how about the USS Picard?

If they would name a ship after a captain, it would be the U.S.S. James T. Kirk. named after one of the best captains in history. Sure Archer saved Earth, but Kirk did more.

Let me think...this would be a whole new ball game, so all the names of ships my various characters have served on are out the window.....

I do like the USS Shadowfire (maybe because I need to get SWG out of my mind before coming here..). I also like the USS Serenity. Maybe the USS Trinity.

If you want a real case of the sillies...you can't beat the USS Ryo-ohki..Or maybe that should be the name of an Orion ship?

Or, if you want to honor a Trek character-The USS Montgomery Scott. (hmm, I like that one the best for some reason)
