We're starting what will be the last run of Unity with playable Borg on Monday. After this, we go to Unity 4.0 -- The Syndicate (Pirates) as playable. Borg will be non-playable with Cardassian, Rakellian, Ferengi for the next run of Unity: Pirates, which adds 70+ ships and bases and a fourth shielded race.

Personally, I'm glad to see the Borg go -- hate them buggers.

Sidenote:

I had lost the Gamespot link, hit Google, and found Unity on CNET'S Download.com. I had no idea. Add another 1,400 downloads the the mod that has 15,000+ downloads to date, the second most downloaded mod EVER in SFC3 -- behind ThePelican's Dominion Wars.

Incredible.

And 'they' said SFC3 was dead.
