Replicators + Transporters

The idea of a Replicator is actually fairly simple to manage, as long as sufficient power is available. So when the big Fusion generators are built (experimental ones are up to about 10MW, with one currently under construction for 500MW) to porvide all the electric we need, there'll be no real problem...

To replicate something, you need to either have a sample or know its subatomic makeup. A computer can do the rest.

The principle behind Nuclear Fission is, simply, that a small amount of energy can be changed into a large amount of energy. I suppose from this that the process could be reversed so that a lot of energy can be used to create a small amount of mass and a HUGE amount of energy could create a larger amount of mass. Plus, by modifying the energy- frequency, amplitude, speed, etc.- it should be possible to control which atoms are formed. So, with a bit of careful computer control, it should be possible to create more complex items. By storing the energy patterns it would be possible to create exact replicas. By using other controls it would be possible to modify them, i.e. changing the temperature of a cup of tea.
Furthermore, any atom can be destabilised so you could break down Nuclear waste and change it into Ozone or some other useful material.

By breaking down the subject REALLY QUICKLY, and I'm talking a picosecond or so, it would be possible to take apart a reaction or a living being and replicate them at another location before they were affected. Thus the Teleporter is invented.

Just been thinking- by doing this you could devalue gold, diamonds, Alienware PCs, whatever by flooding the market. Combined with cheap, efficient, clean Fusion power (or a solar panel, large capacitor and an even larger wait!) pretty much anyone could have anything. A Replicator (and power) would be the ONLY thing anyone required.

This would devalue the monetary system and remove any requirement for theft. Terrorism would be lowered.

If everyone has access to one of these replicators then no-one needs anything anymore and can go anywhere they want. Thus government becomes redundant- no-one needs them for anything and people will start paying taxes with replicated notes and so on- so the world will descend into a Star Trek-esque scenario where they exist simply to better themselves and their species. Being able to make new and better materials would mean Man can stretch beyond Earth and start to make an impact on the rest of the Universe.

Using the Quantum Entanglement system used to send information instantaneously it becomes easy to manage instantaneous communication across the universe. Combined with a Teleporter, that would put our motive systems up to the Iconians level, with the Gates network. Entanglement does have a few limits but I'll answer any questions on those if asked.

Anyone at University or suchlike, run these ideas past your lecturers! Get the wheels in motion around the world! Long live the future!

There is only one problem. About energy. People would have to work to create that energy, and that is very similar to  social-economic system that now exist.

2 problems with replicators and transporters....

1. We dont have an efficient method to scan, detect, record, and predict the location and movement of all let alone one molecule in a complex object......we do have methods to detect them and such, but i said efficient....

2. You need a grand power source.....

The teleporter has already been inveted last year when a few molicules were teleported. But it couldnt be used on cells as the DNA cannot be teleported. Thus the only way to teleport a living cell was to teleport non-living part while the living part was cloned and the orignal part was deleted. If a human had to do it would be in a way killing him.

Tell me something about that inveted teleporter.

The news was on CNN by converting the molicules into strands of data they managed to teleport them im not sure exactly you might wanna go to a news site and chk out the archives. The news report i saw they even mentioned Star Trek. (quote :like the teleporters used in star trek).

Everything posted by the topic's creator is preposterous and based on really bad science.

If everyone knows that it's based on bad science then why are people discussing it?
