Star Trek Star Trek: Elite Force 3?

Hey all, first time here on the message boards, but since I can't seem to find anything else about it on the internet maybe you all could help.

After Elite Force 2 (probably the best first-person shooter I've ever had the luck of finding and liking) I became suddenly intrigued about the possibility of a sequel with Munro and the rest of the team. As far the storyline goes it seems sort of off, but it is possible.

Has anyone heard anything? I read somewhere that Activision was suing Paramount for the Star Trek License. I'd love to have a Star Trek: Elite Force 3. Maybe on Deep Space Nine or an Elite Force 3: MACO Command. You know, taking the role of MACOs on Archer's Enterprise?

If this does happen, I want it out on the PlayStation2 as well as the boffy PC. I'd go for the "Deep Space Nine" or "Enterprise" version, but surely Munroe could not possibly serve with Captain Archer (timeline, people, timeline)?

The lawsuit seems to have been settled though there might still be some ongoing clauses. Check out the Harry Lang Interview (Paramount) here that the STGD and STGU did.

Also check out this under used page

I wouldn't want to see sequels. They can easily re-use ships and characters without calling the games Armada III, Elite Force III, BOTF II. The advantage would be people wouldn't compare them and they will most likely be received better and judged on their own merits.

Yeah I think a MACO game woule be cool, or even an expansion pack for EF2 would work. But I think it's gonna be a while still we see another star trek game since activision is being a bunch of babies.

Yes MACO Command sounds good but who says its not possible. The main character in Elite Force 3 Maco Command can probably be Alexander Munroes GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER..... It can be a good idea

Using MACO rifles and Phase Pistols and Pulse Pistols and Alien Technology.... It sounds good

MACO Command would be really bad.Dominion Wars would be cool but you wouldn't be playing Munrow as its set before Voyager.

Not nerecessily... After his stint on the Enterprise, the it would perhaps make sense for Munro's team to be stationed somewhere near/in the Beta quadrant. DS9 would be as good a place as any, and it affords the opportunity to engage with characters that people would already be familiar with, i.e. the ones left behind. There could even be an opportunity to explore the Sisko thing...

The destruction of Romulus could be a good starting point for the game, instability in the region justifying the presence of the Hazard Team, perhaps even getting their own Defiant class ship...?

Anyway, because of all the legal skullf*ckery and general lazy-assedness of the whole thing, I doubt this will come to pass as an official release.

With the failure of the Enterprise TCW mod, this could be a good opportunity for a fan made game.

Im wait game "Elite Force-3". Im think, what activision or other developer company will be released game. Too want story about MACCO in 3-game, created enemy: xindy and build spheres,who has been in third season "ENT".Im hope,what game will be released.
