Kinetic missiles don't need to be Arm, they inflict damage by collision.... And if weapon are charge they mean they are going to be fired. any single would barely out race a missile going at 90 PSL any way. |

In Redemption, Worf had to fire the Bortas' torpedo manuely so the other Klingon ships didn't detect the weapons lock. They can detect weapon's locks, but they can't say when or if it is going to fire.

Well if the missles are "hot" comming out of the tube I think the Enterprise can detect it, the Andromeda has the Enterprise out gunned thats fore sure but StarFleet crews have a way of using brain over brawn....I think with all the science and sensor crap the Enterprise would still put up a hell of a fight. Heres a thought I had..what if the Andromeda's AI could get into the computer of the Enterprise.......:O

humm like the Andromeda doesnot have a smart Crew? What about super human AI that out thinks and out reacts any human. We seen what a AI directed ship could do against multiple starfleet human directed ships. It ain't pretty.. |

that fine but OM (offensive missiles) uses passive sensors and get their targeting information from Drones and their active sensors... |

The Andromeda has the Enterprise outgunned plain and simple, but the Enterprise has more resourses being more of a science ship than anything.

well no..if your going to say something like that then ol Al would have to have been trained in Martial Arts for that line to make any sense.....
what i'm saying is the Enterprise is more like a swiss army knife...it's has many tools

and so does andromeda, which also armed with a host of fighters and multiple missiles types, workshops, labs, ultility crafts, etc.... The type of combat involved would be over in a matter of minutes, not much time to Brainstorm... |
