...for Macintosh? (Sorry, had to keep that last bit back to get people to read this)

I know they ported Elite Force, which I have. But did they do anything else?

You can find "Star Trek Deep Space Nine: The Fallen" for the Mac.

It's a 3rd-person action game (with 1st-person controls) where you play through as three different characters:  Sisko, Kira, and Worf.  You fight (and explore) inside a Bajoran freighter, a Cardassian installation on an ice planet, a Jem'Hadar asteroid prison, the Defiant itself, and even a gutted Miranda-class vessel that's partially submerged in the sea of a jungle planet.  And the levels are MASSIVE.  (In fact, there are even more levels which I didn't list...)

The game also allows you to do more than 'shoot.'  You can scan for lifesigns with your Tricorder, beam people out of dangerous areas with 'pattern enhancers,' and contact your bridge crew for help.  (Of course, the shooting's great too ... especially sniping with the phaser rifle.)

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it.  I've played nearly every "Star Trek" game out there ... and "The Fallen" is my personal favorite.  It's what first got me to start watching old episodes of "Deep Space Nine."

Yeah, it's that good...

My favourite all-time Trek game is Birth Of The Federation.

Yes, DS9: The Fallen is fantastic. The only problem with it is that it uses the Unreal Engine V. 400 (i think that's right) which has UT-Era graphics. But the gameplay is good, and DS9 is the best trek, so there is nothing to lose!

I have it for the PC.  It's pretty good.

Well actually, as a game, it's mediocre.  But being a "DS9" fan, I found it quite fun.

As long as you make sure your shields are recharged, you can watch your fleet take out wave after wave of Dominion (or Federation and Klingon) forces.  However, there's not a lot of skill involved.  It's basically just a bunch of eye-candy.

Sometimes the game can be challenging.  But by the time you're nearing the end, it's simply a matter of watching five Galaxy-class vessels (or Dominion battleships) just pound the $%#& outta' the enemy.

In summation, you're really not missing out on anything here.

Again, if you haven't played it yet, you really need to check out "Deep Space Nine: The Fallen."  Now, that game is G-r-r-r-eat!
