This is my favorite game. It would be better if you fought the Borg or something or if you could leave the bridge. That would make it the best.

The armarda games were always my favourite until I discovered BC. It's by far the best with the experience of commanding your own ship. It would be great if another was made with the ability to add even more ships to a battle and have command of your fleet as well as your ship.

Get the mods, bcfiles.com. From there, it's wonderful.

I really liked this game, but it always crashed when I tried to mod something.. I did everything according to the tips given by the modders, but nothing seemed to work.. Unfortunately the game isn't very exciting without mods, so I've switched back to Klingon Academy, which works just as good!

I have Bridge Commander for a long time and i LOVED it.. adding new mods BC Deluxe Expansion and Nanofx made alot of incredible changes than original and even Animated LCARS panels it's so real.. i love the re-texture of Enterprise Bridge from Nemesis. I really hope ACTIVISON would decide to make a new Star Trek PC game but with improved Graphics and Engine.. I still play BC as long as i want cuz i love battles online and taking sweet screenies or playing movie roles in Single Player from the films it's fun all fun.. theyr'e making a new version for BC Deluxe Expansion mod:Enemies of Life 2.0 coming soon! www.bcfiles.com go there today!

Bridge Commander is a good game. The ships are textured well, and the graphics are good. However, they should have spent more time on the "people" in the ships, there disappointing.

Star Trek Bridge Commander ROCKED! Period! I never was able to get my hands on Klingon Academy or Starfleet Academy from Interplay, but Activision's Bridge Commander was close enough. My favorite ships to command were the Bird of Prey, the Vor'Cha class attack cruiser, and on a rare occasion, the Romulan Warbird. (And if someone knew how to use a Shuttlecraft just right, those things could be down right lethal.) The only thing I hated about online play was when you ran into smacktards....cheaters. Seeing an Akira-class cruiser fire thirty quantum torpedoes out of the aft tubes, and score direct hits is not what I call fair play. (And when you would call such a smacktard on his/her lack of true skill..they would come back with "Aww..I could beat you with a shuttlecraft." Translation: "F.O.A.D., I'll cheat if I want to!") Bridge Commander's sequel will probably never see the light of day. Sales were not as good as expected, and I do believe that Activision has had some issues with Paramount regarding Star Trek lately. Soon as I can get a computer that can handle "Bridge Commander" again, I will be back, blowing other ships out of the stars! Respectfully, Martok2112

well I think activision is just being freak'en cry babies with that whole "paramount didn't give us enough source material to work with" crap.....I mean come on!! They had pleanty! It's just most of the ST games sucked ass. Look at all the starwars games, those games are classics! And thats just off three movies! (the pre-movies games pretty much suck so far) but hey you have Rouge Squadren, Xwing, TIE fighter, the Jedi Knight series, and for those of you who can remember the Star Wars game on the NES...and to those few of us who actually beat the game...you all know what a labor of love that was...

lol speaking of cheats, I was on the bcfiles the other day reading their forums and one individual witnessed a Galaxy fire 200 photons in a single volley! lol I would hate to be on the receiving side of those, BOOM.

Great game! Just wished they would come out with #2.
It would be perfect if they mixed BC with EF2 and you could go anywhere on the ship. Boarding an enemy ship would be fun too.
