I came up with a crazy idea one day and thought, I would post it on here to see what people would think. What I came up with is to start building a lifesize Enterprize D, nothing that will fly or go in space or anything but i thought that it would be awsome to have an attraction that u chould go 2 and the computers work to a certin extent and the but have like all the turbolifts work and the doors and the jefreys tubes i know they have the bridge @ the hilton im yet to go see that woudl be a lovely treat but if anyone has any pros or cons on this pleae inform me. ps (i know this would cost a h*****lll of alot of money)

Do you realize just HOW big that is? Yes the bridge, sickbay, engineering, turbolifts, shuttlebay, transporter rooms, etc all very cool. You still have probably 90% of the space leftover. This is mostly living space. The attraction would have to be a hotel to use that space. Also you would have to have something more than just a hotel built like a starship to bring paying customers in & be successful.
Wouldn't it be nice if it happened though!

I think a life size defiant would be awesome and it would be more plausible.

^^Agreed...I believe it would take a rather LONG time to build the whole Enterprise-D.

Trekland. I'd visit. Why just Federation ships? Why not have a whole yard of ships, like Romulan warbirds and Jem'Hadar vessels, and why not a Borg cube to take a tour through? Then afterwards, why not stop by a "replicator" for some Kanar with Plomeek soup? Or, for the adventurous, some Gagh? Maybe you don't want a full stomach before venturing onto some of the fastest roller coasters in the galaxy! /corny sales pitch It's so crazy it just might woik...

One little tidbit... how would you keep the whole thing level? The front part of the saucer section would be heavy enough to make the whole thing take a nose-dive into the ground, wouldn't it? Other than that, it'd be an awesome idea, assuming you could get the money for it, and that Paramount would LET you build it. Of course, a smaller ship would be good to start out with. Like, as someone pointed out, the Defiant? Or even the Delta Flyer? Just thoughts...
